It can be a bit of a pain to have to open up iCal every time you want to look at your events. This little widget gives you access to them straight from your Dashboard.

With iCal Events you can select which event calendars to show and how many days to display, from today to two weeks. For each day the widget will display events with corresponding time and the calendar color code. Clicking on an event will automatically open it up in iCal.

iCal Events is resizable, so if you've planned it to show events for a few days, you can stretch it out on the Dashboard and have it display all of them at once.

I firmly encourage anyone regularly using iCal to have this widget installed on their Dashboard. It will make life much easier for you by displaying all your future events straight away.
